I'll dominate 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two time unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Size Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
